
Becker & Poliakoff Co-Founder Alan Becker Assumes Law Firm's Managing Shareholder Role & Responsibilities
Co-Founder Gary A. Poliakoff Remains with Firm as Shareholder, Will Shift Focus from Management Obligations to Law Practice and Related Activities

LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Becker & Poliakoff, P.A., a diversified commercial law firm with fourteen offices and more than 125 attorneys throughout Florida, today announced that co-founding shareholder Alan S. Becker has assumed the Managing Shareholder role and responsibilities at the law firm.
Mr. Becker takes up the firm's lead management responsibilities from co- founder Gary A. Poliakoff, who remains an active shareholder in the law firm and will shift from a management role in order to concentrate more closely on law practice and related activities.
Co-founder Alan Becker has led the firm with Poliakoff since its inception and most recently served as Marketing & Recruitment Shareholder on the firm's management committee, directing business development, recruitment and strategic planning for the law firm. A former three-term Florida State Legislator, Becker also serves in key leadership positions in Florida economic development organizations, including Enterprise Florida and The Beacon Council, Miami Dade County's private-public economic development agency.
