Professional Experience
Tatiana Yaques is a litigation attorney in the Firm’s West Palm Beach office and a member of the Firm’s statewide Commercial and Complex Litigation Group. Ms. Yaques comes to Becker & Poliakoff following practice at large national law firms.
Ms. Yaques has represented local, national and international clients in federal court, state court and international arbitration matters. She has a broad range of experience in complex commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, trademark litigation, real estate related cases including condominium and homeowners disputes, class actions and corporate governance.
Activities & Memberships
Ms. Yaques is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in the District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She clerked in U.S. District Court and interned in the Miami Dade State Attorney’s office while in law school. Ms. Yaques has undertaken pro bono representation of clients in immigration and child advocacy matters. She is a native Spanish speaker and is proficient in French.
