Professional Experience
Richard Valuntas is a litigation attorney in the Firm’s West Palm Beach Office. He represents clients in complex civil and commercial litigation cases in a variety of areas, including hurricane recovery, contractual disputes, and real estate related cases including condominium and homeowners’ disputes. His practice also includes vigorously representing clients before the appellate courts.

Mr. Valuntas, a Board Certified Criminal Appellate Attorney, was previously employed in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Florida Attorney General’s Office for nearly six years. He represented the State of Florida in hundreds of cases before both state and federal courts, and has presented numerous oral arguments before the Florida Supreme Court and the Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Valuntas served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Fred A. Hazouri at the Fourth District Court of Appeal. He also gained valuable experience as an associate attorney for a commercial litigation firm in West Palm Beach.

Activities & Memberships
Mr. Valuntas previously served as a Traffic Court Hearing Officer in Palm Beach County and has extensive experience in traffic law matters. He has also been a member of the Recreation Advisory Board in Royal Palm Beach since 2002.
