Professional Experience
Kevin L. Edwards manages the Community Association Department for the Firm’s Sarasota office. Mr. Edwards received his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey (B.S., 1987) and his law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan (J.D., 1993).

Mr. Edwards is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar, and the Sarasota Chapter of the nationwide Community Association Institute. He is a frequent lecturer on various aspects of condominium law and a certified instructor with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation where he teaches condominium and cooperative courses on behalf of the Community Association Institute.

In addition to his background as a Community Association practitioner, Mr. Edwards has extensive trial and appellate experience in many areas of corporate and civil litigation, construction litigation, community association enforcement and collection cases, real estate and probate law.
