Professional Experience
Marni Becker-Avin is the Firm's Professional Development Director. She works with department heads and practice group leaders to devise and implement various programs and strategies relating to recruiting, training, orientation, integration, mentoring, supervision, evaluation, cohesiveness, and retention. In addition, she acts as the liaison between the attorneys and the Management Committee.
Marni Becker-Avin also serves as Becker & Poliakoff, P.A.'s in-house Trial Consultant. She assists the litigation attorneys with trial preparation and litigation strategy. Mrs. Becker-Avin has extensive experience conducting focus groups, preparing witnesses, and shadowing juries. Mrs. Becker-Avin is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law where she was a member of the "Psychology Public Policy and Law" Law Review, and earned her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University.
